Sherry has been involved in the CrossFit community for 5 years. Since then, she has worked hard to learn and improve her skills as an athlete. Sherry earned her CrossFit L-1 Certification in July 2017 and joined the RWOL family in September of that same year. She has been inspired by the CrossFit RWOL core values and the incredible family that together promote wholeness of life for all of its members. She believes RWOL provides a fun, family centered community while encouraging you to become better than yesterday.
As a Registered Nurse, Sherry has always understood the importance of exercise for the overall health of mind and body. Although she started exercising later in life, it has become an important part of her daily routine. After trying other exercise programs, Sherry found CrossFit to be a lifestyle that anyone and everyone could benefit from, no matter their age, level or athletic ability. She believes that CrossFit is not only effective, it’s just plain FUN! Sherry is passionate about training not only experienced athletes, but those just getting started in their journey to better themselves one day at a time.
Sherry has always been encouraged by her husband Ben and three kids: Gabe, Abbie, and Camden. Her family has been a vital part of Sherry’s journey into the world of CrossFit training and has often been guinea pigs for her to practice her coaching skills.
Chris has been doing CrossFit for about 6 years. He admires the sport and enjoys the community it brings. Chris received his L-1 in December of 2019. Although still new to the coaching side he is continually learning everyday and pushing himself through every workout.
Chris joined the RWOL family as an athlete in the summer of 2017. A big draw for Chris was his admiration of the leadership and mentorship Brett instills into his coaches and community at the gym. He loves the core values RWOL stands for. He says, “Renewing Wholeness Of Life is being the best in my spiritual, emotional, and health I can be for myself, my kids, family, and friends.” Chris loves to serve others and enjoys connecting with everyone that walks through the doors. He values and appreciates the community at RWOL.
Outside of the gym, Chris tries to spend as much time as he can with his two kids, Jaxen and Ava. They like attending church and enjoy serving on the weekends. Chris enjoys watching them play sports. They all love the outdoors, riding bikes, or just chillaxin and watching movies. When Chris isn’t coaching or working out or hanging with his kids, he is hard at work in the oil and gas industry. He likes sports, music, and people. And he loves some quality ‘me time’.
