OPPORTUNITY to GIVE
Glenn King’s daughter and Lauren’s sister, Halie, and her son, Easton, are in need of our help. Glenn’s grandson has something called a Syringomyelia or a syrinx of the spine. It is a cerebrospinal fluid sac in the center of his spinal cord that deteriorates the spinal cord and nerve tissue in the spine. Easton’s is pretty extensive. It goes the whole length of his spine. This requires surgery to put a shunt in the center of his spine to drain the fluid into his stomach. He will have this the rest of his life and will need a replacement as an adult also. No neurosurgeon in the state of Oklahoma will operate on Easton because of his size. Since there are very few doctors who actually have experience with this, they have to go out of state. They are looking at the Mayo Clinic, but this is a very expensive surgery and their insurance won’t cover it. Their portion is around $75,000.
We’ll be taking donations at the gym . You can give to Glenn personally. Let’s do a small thing together with great love and help carry some of this family’s heavy burden! It’s what we do!!!

Are you interested in an RWOL skip trip in Jan/Feb of 2021? Trying to get an idea of potential participants so we can make further plans and iron out details. A ‘yes’ at this time doesn’t commit you or require any money down. It will just help us know if this is worth pursuing.
A POD is a herd of marine mammals that live and travel together. They are small groups of creatures that do life together, look out for one another, and protect and care for one another. Narwhals are a pod dwelling type of animal.
Since we are the RWOL Narwhals, we are creating family groups of the same sort with emphasis on accountability, connection, and growth.
If you are interested in being a part of a POD or even leading/facilitating one, please contact Brett as soon as possible.
